SunRunner is St. Pete’s New Ride and the Most Convenient Way to Get Around Town

Have you ridden the SunRunner yet? If you haven’t hopped on Pinellas County’s newest bus rapid transit service, you better do it before January 31st as rides are currently FREE from the beach all the way to your favorite spots around the ‘Burg. SunRunner boasts centrally located bus stops around some of the most accessible locations in Downtown St. Pete, making it the perfect way to travel around town — whether you’re planning a day at the beach or looking to explore the sunshine city via foot or bicycle.

Along with the super fun and colorful design and branding, I love the incredible convenience which the SunRunner offers residents of Pinellas County. The new ride offers an easy way to get from Beach to ’Burg and anywhere in between. Cruising past traffic in its own lane, the SunRunner gets you where you need to go with no parking hassles and stops about every 15 minutes.

The SunRunner is PSTA’s new Bus Rapid Transit service — the first of its kind in Tampa Bay! From beach to ’Burg, the SunRunner’s 10-mile, 30-stop route connects customers to some of Pinellas County’s most-visited destinations. The SunRunner is:

• Fast – About 35 minutes from downtown to the beach

• Frequent – Service every 15 minutes until 8 p.m.

• Clean – Quiet, low-emission vehicles

• Reliable – Runs in its own lane to avoid traffic delays

You can also get your hands on a SunRunner Gold Card, which gets you exclusive discounts to local businesses and services along the route.

To learn more about the SunRunner service, visit www.PSTA.net and follow them in Instagram at @RIDEpsta. You can now enjoy the region’s first-of-its-kind bus rapid transit system right here in Sunny St. Pete, Florida! Don’t forget to tag #SunRunner + #Galalife during your next ride. Happy riding! ☺️🚍
