We opted for a first floor premium room, which welcomes you directly to the pool area from your room, with a cute private patio for prime sun bathing. I loved being able to wake up, walk out of my bed, and arrive at the pool.
The generously sized kitchenette allows for in-room food storing and even the option of having your kitchen stocked with groceries of your choice prior to your arrival through the Mint House app. The onsite pool and fitness amenities ensured rejuvenation, while the accessibility to the SunRunner, St. Pete's rapid transit system, expands your exploration horizons.
The best part is that every Mint House Hotel is accessible through the Mint House mobile app, which gives you touch-free access to your stay ahead of time — even providing a room key and early check-in, in addition to 24/7 chat support and more.
Having a washer/dryer in the apartment also took away any worries about laundry, and the complimentary WiFi ensured I stayed connected even while dipping in the pool. The super comfortable bed was our retreat after sunny exploration, while the spacious living area was a haven for relaxation, remote work, and entertaining friends before and after a night out in the Edge District.

Mint House's strategic location meant that treasures like The Chihuly Collection and The Dalí Museum were mere steps away. The Edge District's ambiance of live music, gourmet street food, and vivid public art created an immersive 24-hour party atmosphere that invited everyone to partake.
Community, Cuisine, and Culture - Seamlessly Integrated
Downstairs from my cozy haven, Intermezzo always captivates me with its dual personality, offering delectable croissants and coffee by day and transforming into a lively craft cocktail bar by night. Just next door, Green Bench Brewing Company introduces guests to a world of inventive microbrews and neighborhood vibes.
We got to dine at Red Mesa Mercado, trying their freshly made tacos and Mexican inspired platters and margaritas. They even provide a to-go option so that you can grab your grub and head back for a day by the Mint House pool.
We also dined at Copa Caribbean restaurant and Bodega, an award-winning local gem, renowned for its Cubanos and colorful Cuban sandwiches. You can also visit the newly opened Bar Chica speakeasy, open after dark behind Bodega. The Central Arts District, adorned with captivating murals, beckoned a stroll to the Morean Arts Center - a true testament to the area's rich artistry.
