My weekend at the Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort turned into an unexpected trip of discovery. Not only was that resort incredible (check out the post on my stay at the Hilton Tulum here), situated on the same grounds, travelers will find the Hilton's Luxurious sister property, the Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya. Situated just a short golf cart ride away, I was I was granted a day pass to the enchanting Conrad Tulum to spend an afternoon exploring the property -- but primarily gawking at the stunning architecture and laying by the ocean-view infinity pool, while enjoying the top-tier customer service.
As I stepped onto the grounds of Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya, I was immediately captivated by the awe-inspiring architecture and serene atmosphere that enveloped the property. Nestled among the mangroves, the resort unfolds as a hidden gem, seamlessly blending its Mexican roots with a commitment to sustainability and a dedication to luxury. It felt like a secret oasis, offering a retreat from the world in the jungle. The design and architecture were a fusion between ancient Mayan influences and a modern, sustainable vision.
While not all-inclusive like the Hilton next door, the day pass granted me access to the Conrad Tulum’s five pools, eleven restaurants and bars, and a private beach caressed by the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. This added access to the resort grounds and amenities created an idyllic setting for relaxation and a totally unique vacationday, not far from where I was staying at the Hilton. From unwinding on the sandy shores to indulging in the infinity pool's elevated ambiance, every moment felt like a new vacation. As we were enjoying our cabana so much, we enjoyed poolside lunch from one of the water-front “chiringuitos” (or taco stands) which was amazingly delicious. Since we visited during the week of Día De Los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, the hotel offered some very cool themed programming for the occasion, like gorgeous altars and decorations. Even the beach bar offered a themed Day of the Dead menu, with Charcoal Cheeseburgers and Pumpkin Margaritas, both of which were truly delicioso!
